Crossing the Great Divide

Religion or Science:
they aren't that different.
Creation or evolution;
Lives interwoven by different mythologies
stories flowing from different perceptions
yet we all share the same beautiful reality,
and the gift of life.

    Short, to the point, and absolutely fabulous! The wisdom of your words is utterly profound, and if only more people could accept this.
    Thank you for sharing this, and for taking the time to enter my contest,

    Luck.

    I beg to differ. I thought the poem was great and the message profound. I think that is what a lot of people dont realize.I know for every myth there is truth. Like hercules is the greek percetion of the hebrews samson. Or of Zeus slepping with various woman are like the angel before the flood who slept with woman.I think everyone express it different. All Knowledge is from God He gave us the freewill to think.The more you tolerate people thinking and culture, you become more like him.Great write and awesome poem.

    I like what you are trying to say. Both as expressed by man have different myths and untruths about them. We do share the same reality and gift of life.
    The poem itself is a bit weak lacking poetic devices such as metaphor of simile. The second line is a simple sentence which could be more poetically stated. "Not as difference as perceived. Both are deceived."
