Stately mountains loom as icy giants
with wistful snow drifts
molting into a lazy painted sky.
They stand holy above.
Below, trees branch evergreen.
Then a stone-still lake
photographs
an upside down clone
of the picturesque scene,
all perfect as God is the
awesome artist of creativity.

i can see that you really looked at the picture prompts becasue even before i read your Authyors notes I could picture the photo I left staright away.
I like your imagery at the beginning with the painting the'lazy sky'
and the mountains as 'icy giants'
the colours you represented were well painted
