Love is such a gentle word
It has beauty that overflows
Love can fill a heart so full
Each day it seems to grow
Love can over come life's trials
It will fill our heart with glee
Love will mend a broken heart
Love will set you and me free
Love can wipe away the tears
That flow from a little child
Kiss the scraped knee and then
Speak to the child so mild
This will also work with adults
Speak softly and with a smile
Friends can spend a lifetime
Together and walk an extra mile
Love comes to all in many ways
It's wonders to behold
Love will last a lifetime friend
From youth until you are old
