Sometimes to say I love you
is never quite enough.
A thought hovers, fades then dies,
unspoken emotions we can never quite connect.
Moments we waste when truth is all we need
yet life, propriety, the sheer indolence
of fear strikes a barb of insecurity
and the wish is shattered.
For you, though no hesitation should
ever remain. No emotion go unwhispered,
no line unsung, no message undelivered
no call uncollected.
Each moment a handsbreath
of untasted decisions, loosened tongues
stutter over the unfamiliar and
sometimes, just sometimes, a pain,
the harsh viced ache of requirement
is all we have to say.

I really like this poem. I connect to it and on top of that it is very well penned. Good luck.

Interesting....I can relate to the emotions in this poem. It feels as if something is missing though. I wish you the best.
