To capture unrecoverable moments,
this is the feat that faces me.
To recollect emotions felt in past,
when its known that they can't last.
To the man who will invent the cue,
that beckons all things back anew;
will wedge for himself a place,
of renown; savoring great esteem.
For what will one pay for those few
times when harmonies rang out true?
When to do it again just like it was
is to revisit a time that once 'twas.

I really loved this. You even kept it in style with Longfellow- that same feeling of nostalgia and a sorely missed childhood. This flowed beautifully. Thank you for entering.
