Lovely child of nature, darting here and there
in the forest glades amid the trees and flowers
Playing hide and seek with butterflies and birds
while nesting in between the petals of a daisy’s bloom
One second you are here, then next gone from view
flitting from your home, the lotus petals
To plunge into a hidden pool filled by rain and snow
rising from the water, filling the air with smell of dew
We wait to hear the song of air that will come forth
from the fairy voice; singing of light and love
As you voice words of peace and love only heard
by those that are pure of heart
