The purest form falls from the sky
The symbol is clear when it shines
This form is pure and clean snow not rain
And it shows how a child’s innocence wanes
The children play without a care in the world
The adults stare with concern in their eyes
They wonder when life will become soiled
While the kids continue to be nice
The snow falls and shows the truth
It shows how things are when they start
Then the adults can finally soothe
Until the snow falls apart
When it falls people watch in peace
The snow somehow calms the mind
And at that moment all troubles cease
At that moment people free their binds
While it lasts the people can enjoy
For they know in the morning it will be gone
For in the morning it will be destroyed
And the fresh innocence will say so long
Even if it is from car exhaust
