Beneath the beating heart
Love bleeds
Within mindful walls
Thoughts unlock
In the depths of a soul
Purity unveils
Upon skin of faith
Trusting eyes see
Emotions playing
Feelings sliding
Through rosy lips
Folded within a kiss
Apple, the forbidden fruit
Falls then from tree of passion
Skin bruised by unforgiving masses
Left at the mercy of the world
For its warm red skin to be peeled
Leaving it bare naked
To the cold to rot without a breath
Winds of societies
Pound harder on love
Monies block the roads
Religions break bridges
Cultures flood the paths
Families form the storms
Forbidding two souls from uniting
Norms are static
Words are defined
Meanings are distorted
Robotic feelings are keyed in
There is no road open
No path is greener
No rain of compassion pours
Leaving the land of humanity barren
…no two souls unite
Without legal binding
That breaks under smallest of circumstances
Why we forget?
Soul has no gender
Only an identity of purity
Part of the Creator
Then why question?
Why pose hinder?
In the communion of two souls?
How is purity to live?
Within lock and chains
Where love is denied..

Just thinking... My opinion, don't have to agree.
