that tone, in this flower meant love given from Mother Nature herself.
I wish on her coffin it was not to be placed, but he had taken her
snapped the chains of her illness and suffering.
I walk hesitantly towards her and tears flood from me
too weak to bear the next part.
A hand reaches for mine and together, trembling
this red rose rests upon the lid.
Grief ridden, silenced, I turn and stumble away
as I whisper “goodbye”.
Author notes
Written about my mum...when I saw the pic, I was inspired about thoughts about my mum..i changed it round to suit the contest..when in real life I actually placed a yellow rose on her coffin..
Yes I am aware the rose is sitting on a piano in the pic..sorry but didnt get that from it..didn't want to include it within..so yeah
again message is repeated through out in italics..something I have been playing with last couple of days lol
