a fresh start

its all slowly starting to come together
a fresh start and new chapter will begin
a new home as now we are three forever
maybe at last this horrid fight im starting to win

i just crave a peaceful life
and a good future for my offspring
no pain, no negative people, no strife
songs of happiness i want to sing

i crave a routine, a normal day
a day i can wake with no fear
to be able to live in my own way
to go a week without shedding a tear

for my two babies i hope they go far
living their lives how they choose
each one to me is a shining star
and these wants i will not lose

so here we go, down a new path we walk
i have been tested but yet i still stand
i now have my own voice, i now can talk
a fresh happy future has been placed in my hand
