“You can still stop this…”
Crucified among the stars
The desert will accommodate
Tormented by you here on Mars
My angel I could never hate
The desert will accommodate
Paying for my sins alone
Until my angel brought me hate
Worse than I had ever known
Paying for my sins alone
I found solitude could smother
Worse than I had ever known
As I searched here for my…
Mother
I found solitude could smother
As you tormented me on Mars
And then I learned there was another
Crucified among the stars
(Genesis 22:2)
This time Isaac holds the knife
The red planet is all I see
I will not return to life
Stay up here alone with me
The red planet is all I see
Hell was always my design
Now she sleeps alone with me
Finally this world is mine
Hell had such a bad design
The last blackness left my eyes
She’ll never be alone with me
When she wakes, away she flies
I open up my bleeding eyes
But I will not return to life
Holding her I see Earth rise
This time Isaac holds the knife
Earthrise
Like the moon
Mother
Crucified among the stars
Solitude is all I see
Tonight the Earth will rise on Mars
As Isaac holds his knife to me

“You can still stop this…”
That just rang a bell. Is that from one of your passages about Cole, by any chance? -

Not that I remember. It's somewhere in Quetzalcoatl part 2, but if I find it in the old Cole stories somewhere I'll be very surprised

I'm lurking your profile reading all the stuff you have posted here again.
This is beautiful.
It makes me want to read Genesis 22:2 (assuming that will explain the Isaac referance).
