Peace

Peace is something I have always admired
That wraps you up and takes you away
It is a calm gentle spirit
That is not easily made
Yet easily broken
Peace is something that keeps me happy
Its a reason I get up
And put a smile on my face
It breaks my heart to see others so sad
I wish I could tell them the secret to happiness
The one thing that will never let me down
Peace

    Absolutely beautiful! Who knows when there will be peace in the world? (If that's ever possible, that is). Nevertheless we must try to have peace within ourselves by taking care of ourselves and loving others the best we can. Lovely poem. I simply adore it. Brian

    Perfect except for the fact you forgot the e in secret. I like line 3 the best. Fantastic poem!
