November

The rain sings itself
a lullaby
as the night softly
strolls across November skies
with the stars in her pocket
shaped delicately
like the apple blossoms of angels
that follow the breath of change

silently

beneath Heaven...

this is very beautiful - I love:
"like the apple blossoms of angels
that follow the breath of change" lovely imagery...I also the the personification with the rain singing to itself a lullaby..

thanks so much for your entry

    Very pretty...
You make both the sky and rain come to life as more than just nature elements. e.g. "stars in heart pocket"

How you do this...well, I'll just have to read more of your poems, won't I?

a beautiful take on the prompt. November can be a very rainy month. It is somewhat the beginning of winter. Good luck in the contest.
