Untitled to you.

In a land where rain is ever so prominent

The sky... Endlessly over-cast

and drenching the earth

with endless sorrow...

You. My dear.

Are the tallest tree

with the thickest canopy

and the strongest trunk,

   yet not lined with age.

   but creased with ageless wisdom

your canopy – of vivid waxy leaves

colors coming, in all hue -

shelters the forest below

from the thick salty tears of

the skies above.

You shine – with the brightness

    of the blue sun

Bringing warmth to every

   creature

   animal

   tree

your bare hands... touch.

 You. My dear.

  Are a wonderful woman.

   With the sweetest nature.

I am so glad to know you.

     And on Mother's day

You are a Mother to me.

Author notes

This is to my boyfriends mother. =]
She is so good to me... hehe. She is like my second mother.
