Light dimly shadowed
As she stands in the back
Lost in the woodwork
Feeling all she does lack
No need to just see her
For pain she does bear
Don't try to get close
Don't bother to care
She's put on an armor
All hardened yet shred
Cracks are appearing
Life back comes ahead
Risk beyond darkness
Healing at hand
Chipping away
Seeking to stand
The wood is now splintered
And rotting away
She looks to the light
Of a bright new-filled day
