currents
of peacefulness
flowing beside spring brook,
ripples around pebbled problems
sink into depths, as heart forgets the world,
daydreams drift with his mirrored face,
peering for an answer
in life’s swirling
currents
changes
along soul’s search,
sediments churn again
as thaws winter’s hold on nature,
grasp of frigid fantasies fade away
beneath warmth of season’s sunrise,
frozen rivers dissolve
as new hope brings
changes
content
with nature’s kiss
on meadow’s remembrance,
wildflowers touching heaven’s sigh
beneath shape shifting clouds that blossom forth,
cardinal’s chorus greeting dawn
of new mortal daybreak,
embrace his life,
