The Skies of Eyes
By: Julia L. Clark
The fluttering of eye lashes,
The salt of tears.
The story of joy,
The depression of stress smears.
The story of eyes,
Tender,
Soothing, like falling rain.
The chapters of a turning page.
The perfect words chosen,
Like cotton strings perfectly woven.
The skies of eyes,
When I take a deep breath and sigh.
Why the eyeliner of beauty
Displays the finishing touches
Of the birth of watching society angels.
The story of eyes,
Envy,
Jealous,
Resentment,
Theft of identity.
Remember me,
The flesh of sounds.
The lust of a accident.
The ambition of strength.
One who thought you could
Do no wrong.
The skies of eyes,
Will look at you directly,
And see your soul.
And will bitterly deceive you,
And selfishly tell you.
The crucifixion either of truth
Are the impales of the skies
Of eyes.
