The Poet Girl

There are many things I don’t know as yet,

But I do know that in you lies my friend.

No warning, that our lives were to be met,

It does nay matter how they come to blend.

A poet is she with a sense of rhyme,

Her verse gentle as a fairy’s love kiss.

Many an hour spent reading her words chime,

Fast becoming a favoured poet sis.

A mug of tea and a biccy we share,

As an evening spent in our natter box.

Then to our sleep knowing someone does care,

No secret I think this poet girl rocks.

Any idea my friend? You know it’s you,

There can only be one poet called Sue.

Jem and Sue are quite a pair
    The oddest couple anywhere
They treat the world to all their views
    All together that's bad news!!!

We are the best as simple as that, my dear
The world will just have to learn to exist,
Friendship comes and is too precious I fear
The worlds knickers will have to be in twist

A dedication absolutely deserved and more Ju. Sue is a real fairy, I am certain of that as she appeared by magic.

I really am at a loss for words...well almost!

A poet without words is unheard of....

Thank you for this sonnet, it's a great honour and since we've met you have become a good and trusty friend.
I'll open the biccies tonight and you can make the tea

    Thanks again, it's beautiful...

    Love
    Sue

Only poet I know without words is me with the cursed block, even then I have words just nothing I can do with them.

You are always most welcome Sue, this piece was a pleasure to quill.
