Im all alone, no matter who im with;
Because she is not there
Its been six days since she past away
And no one seems to care.
The house is silent, its lost its spirit
Ever since she died
Everyone is slowly moving on
But all ive done is cried
She wasn’t my dog, she was my best friend
She slept with me every night;
I held her as she died in my arms
As I sat there numb in fright.
I was so upset I wouldn’t hold her again
And see her cute little face;
I knew I wouldn’t find anyone like her
And she had gone to a better place.
It wasn’t an accident that she was mine,
We were brought together from fate
I know now that she is waiting for me
At the foot of heavens gate.
Our friendship and love is strong
She was my soul mate and best friend
Looking down upon me from heaven
Until we will meet again

I dont know how i went putting my feelings down on paper, as i dont sleep much any more and im pretty tired. but the image really helped me as now i feel that wherever my little Tessa is, i know she is watching me, and waiting until we meet again. I miss her so much and there is nothing i can do. Thanks for reading.

Very moving piece
I love this piece-it's so honest and simple, yet so deep. I can understand the need you have to write, for therapy to express your grief. I can relate-I do the same. God grant you peace and a friend soon who will help you through your pain. Best of luck in the contest!
