The Sound of Love

she could have been reading
a laundry list
or the newspaper
or babbling incoherently
beams of light
flew from each syllable
and the spirit was in her laugh
and she could feel it

she spoke of her trauma
with the strength and resolve
of one who understood
and her tears had converted
to divine acceptance
miniature novae illuminating
her spiritual rebirth

I bathed myself in the light
shining brightly back
without reflecting
and heard the unmistakable echos
of sensuality in the
freedom of the diaphram
as feeling flowed freely in and out
like a sonata of loving vibrations

somwhere on a desolate mesa
we stood hand in hand
preparing for the challenge
of looking directly into
one another's eyes
and stepping over the edge
into spirit itself

This is an amazing love poem. You grab the reader and suck him into the image with you and cast him into deep emation. Nice work!
