Who and what I truly am

Missing image
Play upon words...made up in my mind
Centuries of wonder...I can no longer hide
Places a plenty...I have seen in my head
My knowledge...it is constantly fed

Within this book are notes...from times before
Telling tales of my life...places and people I adore
Glaring bright light, in my eyes...I can not see
Are there things...I do not want to see about me

Placed within my hand...is my life in many pages
Things I have seen...and done along the ages
Written by me...but when will it be
That I can open up my mind...and finally see

~Tisha Rene~

Author notes

There is a book, I have seen.
Near a body, that long ago was me.
The pages shine bright, hard for me to see.
But if I keep trying, it will soon all come to be.

    The truth was once revealed
    into you from memory
    but please always remember
what it is to truly be free

    The cost is always higher
and the stakes could not be more
but the truth that's hidden inside you
is of wisdom from long before

Be careful with pen to paper
    the truth is often severe
    so often not well handled
by those who don't know, my dear...

Sorry for the riddles, my love...just something that popped in my head as I read :-) Great write!

    I love you always!
