Forbidden Love

Love for another you know isn't right, forbidden
Trying to ignore your feelings, thinking it's best
So that you don't condemn the one you love
But even when she admits she feels the same
You still doubt it, she doesn't know what she's saying

You continue running with the pathetic thought that this is best
Never to be together anymore, is what your aiming for
But helplessly you meet one last time, everyone knowing your a beast
Filled with corrupt desires and temptations
You long to love her even with everyone against you, except her

Loving her with all your heart, more than anyone ever could
You take this pain alone, not wanting her to get hurt
Saying everything she thought you felt, was always a lie
Falling to her knees crying, her heart shattered by the one for her
You stand there in your head convincing yourself, falseness

But there are too many signs saying the opposite
Every time you're together you blush, smile, and laugh
When in a fight with kids at school, she's worried about you getting hurt
Screaming your name, you get weak and take the beating
When it's all over you ask if she's alright even though nothing happened to her

In the past when she cried, you gave her a cheap ass toy ring to make her stop
Cherishing it more than anything, never forgetting that day
She puts it in a ring box, looking at it whenever she's lonely
For it's the only thing that eases the pain and sadness in her heart
Being with you is all she needs and wants, even if doing so she loses everyone else

Finally one day you both accept your wants and feelings for one another
Everyone now knowing the truth, sickened by what society and religion are against
You don't care anymore, why suffer when no one else matters more to you
Both of you running as far away as you can together, not looking back
You spend the night in a hotel and make sweet and very passionate love

The next day you wake up with her not beside you, you start to freak
Leaving a note saying she just went for a walk, you quickly run to find her
When you finally do it's too late, she was stabbed multiple times
From a guy who just wanted to take her money, but now took her life
Panic, anger, sadness all take over your heart, as you sit holding her crying

All that's going through your head is it's my fault
None of this would of happened if I would of stayed away from her forever
The only thing I can be happy for is that she died with her heart at peace
No more worrying about being with me and what others thought
But now I'm left to suffer again and worse now, knowing you're not here anymore

Does it matter whether something is considered right or wrong?
People don't understand, the only thing that's right is for you to be happy
As long as it doesn't involve unsuspected hurt or death to others
This is your life to do as you wish, live it how you want
A life isn't worth living if your not happy living it!!!

Oh and it's not being selfish to think of yourself and want what makes you happy
Only for the fact that it's your life and no one else's
If you wanna live at the cost of you suffering to make others happy,
then that too is also your choice, but never think anything you do isn't up to you
Everything in your life is all on what you want to make happen or let happen.
