Psyche learns but forgets

living
remembering mistakes
not to commit again
robs life of emotions

retrieving psychic hurts
pen them on paper
guard them against
take vitality out of emotions

resilient are they
err frequent
without worrying consequences
however intense
light beckons from behind

human beings same, through ages
apart from progress happened outside
emotions overwhelm
reason stay for a while

psychic torrents
choose neither right or wrong
keep coming  with joy
recede forlorn beating shore

We are where we were at the begining, because of emotions. They do not fade, inspite of repeating rights and wrongs, unlike in outside world

    a beautiful lesson in this, I however dont feel this applys stringly as a 'persona poem' vivid sequence of thought, but I didnt feel the presence of a specific persona. it wasn't bad at all though

    are you suggesting it is better not to consider mistakes from the past or concern ourselves with onsequences?

        yes I understand now, though writing them down can be a way of releasing the hurt to move on from.
        It is interesting how inner pain is subjective and only felt by the creation with a soul. As you say the physical world experiences all life as a natural cycle of events without distinguishing as human beings do.
