Silver fragments reflecting the past,
Moving across the far northern plain,
Unearthing old memories,
And spreading new ones.
These are my fondest thoughts
Of an angel far far away,
But not so far for me to feel compassion towards,
Who always is carried in my heart.
Summer leaves in an orangey glow,
The cry of the gulls circling above,
And the crash of the waves against the rocks,
The smell of the sea,
Although it is only a river,
Just a place perfect for someone like you.
We met here once before so long ago,
Now I stand here wondering if you will ever return,
But I know you will you said so,
These days I await your return.
With a beating heart,
And a gentle embrace.
Winters past finally,
Spring is on its way,
Flowers are beginning to bloom,
Not long now till you return,
We may not be able to meet here,
But inside my heart I will always find you,
Because you are always there.
