For the love of them
From that drink, I pray you stray
When times become rugged and hard
Find the happiness and in your childrens smile wallow.
Walk in this life as though
no sorrow had a sweeter drop
then the day you stopped…
Wash your soul with happiness.
Quince your thirst in gladness
and know that many could not walk
the extra miles you have been
strength is yours' and will keep you from sin.
In Gods’ arm's may you rest
and in his foot prints
may you gently step, when tomorrow wakes
another day of sobriety is yours to celebrate…
