The dragon roars out into the sky,
A sorrowful sound indeed.
Its pain is evident,
Its broken heart in need.
The dragon is wishing for a friend,
Can you not tell?
Now as you listen a little harder,
His roar becomes a song.
A song promising peace,
A song of wist-full hope.
That someday there will come a man,
with no fear in coming too close.
Close enough to touch the dragons snout,
As no one person has ever done.
And now I can hear his roar,
I can hear his song.
Oh, how I wish I could help,
Make his pain go away.
And visit him whenever I want,
To visit him today.
So I gather up my courage,
And search for that dragon alone.
For I will finally be able to reach him,
And for his long past suffering gone.
