There are father hugs and mother hugs
And sister hugs and brother hugs
There are old friends to say
How much we missed each other hugs
There are passing acquaintance hugs
Which really don’t mean much
And even hugs from people
We’d prefer not to touch
There are well preserved old auntie hugs
We try to avoid
And thank you from children hugs
For something they enjoyed
But there’s that special hug from someone
We love better than the rest
There’s nothing like a lover's hug
There the ones I like the best
Author notes
I'm just an old softy really
