Sinister morsels pass unseen
Through parched lips that cry out
For nourishment denied
Each bite shall remain subtle
Only a short while
Each taste emerges as physicality
An embodiment of it's temptation
A deadly sin
An ugly sin
Brittle bones scream for sustenance
Destruction evident to observation
Destruction evident to hollow eyes
For only the blind cannot see
That each careful mouthful
Each inadvertent sip
Leads to nought but hatred
Revulsion
Rejection
Quod me nutrit, me destruit
What nourishes me, destroys me
And food will be my destruction.
