rays of light through her woven word
with stories of life and fables
braided beauty quite undeterred
by visions that she enables
tapestries from around the earth
with patterned poetry that floats
blanket pages with wondrous worth
of pastel hue and floral notes
feather and fur and petals bloom
in perfect meter and measure
the woven words from poet’s loom
become garments that we treasure
written shawls of flattering shade
make such perfect gifts when handmade

"the woven words from poet’s loom
become garments that we treasure"
I'm sure the poems woven from your loom are treasured as well. Beautifully crafted piece!

You write with such flare. A poetess indeed! The metaphores here are well designed as you weave your words into that rich blanket for such an honourable dedication. Just lovely...alby

Lovely poetry and such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. Congratulations on your silver trophy, but moreso for truly capturing the essence of dear Marion.

What an astounding tribute given with sincerity
and grace! So fluid and clever in word choice
and meaning. Lovely gift to have presented here.

This is beautiful! A sonnet penned in octosyllable and it flows like silk. I cha see that Marion loves it, so do I.
