Author notes

This poem 'Coloured Balloons' accompanies my pre written poem 'A Real Party Girl' also here, about my Mum who used to work in a Balloon factory..My Mum is no longer here ..and I found out that she worked in the balloon factory not too long ago ..as I never knew ..but I imagine that she would hae loved this job and imagined what would have happened to the coloured balloons that she made .. perhaps it was this ..'Coloured Ballons' and party time with 'A Real Party Girl'... I enjoyed this thankyou dear Lady for setting this up I think you may have had something in common with my Mum....you in the selling and her in the making of the many shiny coloured balloons Hugs Lib x x

I like this a little beter than your other piece. It seems livelier. This could be a poem for children. Thanks for entering my contest.

    WOW I just love this!!!
as you read through the lines you can see the release of all the coloured ballons as they soar off into the sky. Absolutely breathtaking, I loved it. Val

Marvelous!! This made me feel happy and cheered. I have always said that I am one of the balloon people...needing to be tethered to earth because I tend to fly. Very much enjoyed this!!!

    Yes, yes

I'm happy for you. The shape is both more balloon like and shows more movement and expression. I love your rework of this. I wish it the best. Thank you for putting a 'childlike' smile on my face.

    Creative and unique

I think its a fun and happy piece. My only suggestion is make it in the shape of a balloon and to use the rugrats background. Some background color would help emphasize the gaiety.
