Just Out of Reach

I see him in the distance
I can still see the smile on his face
But her arm is around him
She is saying no, you can't have him
He's mine all mine
All I wan is a chance that one time
Time to show him who I am
He doesn't even know my name
He doesn't even know I'm there
But I know him yes I do
I want to know him more
I want to be that girl
The one he's holding close
Close to his heart
She's the one the one he wants
I'm the one he can have but
He still doesn't know
He still doesn't care
I want to tell him yes i do
But she's still there
Standing right next to him
So for now it will stay
The way it is
Hopefully he will notice
Notice me standing behind
I love him and he doesn't even know

This is a piece that I think everyone can relate to on one level or another. It's full of emotion without being "whiney" which is an accomplishment. Great job!
