In a poet's realm comes the story of one life,
Many lives, Cascades of love, and heart ache,
Loss and and reward.
In a poet's realm comes the beauty of our subjectivity,
Individual truths shared, confessed, and rendered.
We speak to the souls and hearts of Man and Woman,
Wishing for them brighter days,
Through words and rhyme and quiet times
of soft reflection and light.
O, the light that shines in each of us,
Bright and never ending,
If only to realize,
Dark corridors would become extinct.
Yes,
In a poet's realm

Oh, this is just beautiful. As poets we tend to be both introspective and philosophic, and then if we are successful can communicate those thoughts in a meaningful way that will effect others. As that last parts states, sometimes we fail to realize the import of our words, or I know I do, anyway. If only . . .
I love this beautiful rendering from one poet's realm to another. Gorgeous.
