Purple is the love I feel for you.
Of the purple skies,
That perfect night,
When it was just me and you.
Purple is the smiles you give,
When you make me not feel blue.
Purple is the tears I cry,
All to forget you.
Purple is the color of your eyes in the moonlight,
It's the color of our love,
That keeps me warm in the night.
It's our purple love we share that keeps me alive.

I actually really liked writing this poem, it's unusual for me.

I really like this poem. Especially because it is not a prewrite. You don't know how much that means to me.
Purple is the tears I cry,
All to forget you.
I got the feeling through the poem that your love was still with you. Why would you want to forget? the last lines suggest you are still together. You can change it if you want. It is just a suggestion.
