The clear gentle rain, softly falling from above
Is a refreshing feeling of being cleansed
Touching my face and body all over without fail
Water a lover long missed, every touch so sensual
The sight of it falling so beautifully, excited and full of bliss
Rain is but a shower of memories, unforgettable experiences
Running through rain and splashing in puddles makes me giddy
To be granted eternal happiness, if only for a few hours

Love this. Again, it's full of sense related descriptions that bring the write alive. Love the way you touch the senses! The last three stanzas are particularly powerful. I really enjoyed the image of splashing around in the rain.

Rain is the refresher of all things. It cleans the air, washes the vegetation, provides lifegiving moisture to the soil and gives me water in my storage tanks to drink, to wash with, and to amke my own home brew. Soft as a butterfly kiss. Good poem, I like it.

I like watching rain, kind-of staring through it or at the center of it, then it looks like somehting, like a bug, running across a puddle. I live in the NW, it rains all the time, you get used to it. You seem to really appriciate it; good, most people don't.

Oddly romantic
It is written in the style reminiscent of two long lost friends, now reunited, and gives the reader a certain sense of renewable pleasure.
The ending adds the perfect element of realism, causing its followers to realize that happiness seems eternal, but is tempered by the equal amount of banal and sad experiences available in this world. -

This is naturally beautiful. I have many poems about rain. I think it is beautiful. I love to sleep during thunder storms and breathe in the morning after shower. Its something that you never get sick of and I wouldnt mind if it rained every day. I find beauty in the akwardest places, and when most people think it is dull I think its inspirational.

i really love this poem. It makes me feel hope for some odd reason. I guess different people get different feelings from poems. I love dancing and spinning in circles in the rain. Feeling wet, cold, and estatic all at the smae time. Rain, to me, means a quiet day to myself to do whatever i wish. Because as you know, the rain is such a good friend and won't judge you. Being yourself . well i hope this is an ok comment. great poem. simply beautiful. good work

i really like this. i love everything about the rain and this makes me wish it was raining right now. the patterns it can seem to make are amazing and it's nature is ever changing. i love the imagery in this and the emotions it evokes. keep it up

I love the rain and you expressed here that you do to.. and in a way it turns you into a child..When a lot of us just get annoyed when it rains, and here it's like you just can't wait til it rains again..
