Baby I'm not sure how much more I can take
I'm so tired of taking that fall
I'm afraid that soon I just might break
I’m sick of crying and I want to smile
But for that baby I need you
You need to come take me away
The days seem so long when I’m alone
And nights are endless without sleep
And blankets don't give me the comfort they used to
Baby I really need something to cling to
Something with meaning and worth my time
Something real not a dream or fantasy
And I’m coming to the end of my rope
My skin is wearing thin and my mind is loosing control
I’m clenching my teeth and biting my tongue
Trying to get through the time without you
It’s been so hard and I feel empty
But now lying in your arms, knowing
This is the way it should be

Aw very emotional I liked it all a slow and gentle build up to a happy ending.
'The days seem so long when I’m alone
And nights are endless without sleep
And blankets don't give me the comfort they used to
Baby I really need something to cling to'
For me this was my favorite image of comfort, fear, and need to cling to something you love.
The only suggestion I would make is for people who get scared at blockl texts is to break up the essay form and turn it into a structured poem ^^ but with the words DO NOT CHANGE A THING!
it's great!
well done
