Tears
Each one holding on
At the brink of the eye
Resisting at first
Surrendering finally to grief;
Tears
Intricate and complex
Not one the same
Yet all fall from the heart;
Rays of hope
Appear like the lightning
Invading despair
Negativity and doubt
But very often
Ostrisized
When shades of grief are pulled down
Sunshine blocked;
Lately I find
Or should I say feel
Only darkness over my tears
Kneeling under clouds
I cry out for the Son
Not the mighty orb in the sky
God's Son is who I mean;
For He alone
Owns the Universe
Runs it too I might add;
Rainbows
Are one of His specialites
You can read it for youselves
Simply follow Noah's flood;
Or look outside sometime
Following the fierstest storm;
Hope is such a powerful word
Only remember this and you will survive
Perhaps my poem will remind next time
Each tear a tiny rainbow looking for rays of hope.

This is a very good poem about tears and the heart crying. However I feel you could have incorporated the tears as liquid words or something t o grasp the prompt that 'tears are words that the heart can't say.'
none the less It was a great poem and I really like this part of your poem where you really focus on the tears itself and their symbolism, their shape, their purpose.
'Tears
Intricate and complex
Not one the same
Yet all fall from the heart;'
you did really well
