Surprise!!!!
Sure hope you are surprised,
by this party just for you.
You'll never guess who planned it,
it was your best friend, Winnie the Pooh.
He and Christopher Robins,
have been working very hard.
They've been planning it for weeks,
hand delivering each invitation card.
Rabbit blew up the balloons,
each and every one.
Usually he would have complained,
but for you, he made it fun.
Owl bought the party favors,
he was a wise one, take a look.
Each and every guest,
will get a copy of your published book.
Roo picked you wild flowers,
in the Hundred Acre Woods today.
He found them when he and Tigger,
were having fun at play.
Tigger wants to hold you tight,
and bounce you way up high.
To give to the feeling,
oh how it would feel if you could fly.
Piglet made you a scarf,
he doesn't want you to catch a cold.
He is behind the chair,
he's a bit shy I am told.
Eeyore lost his tail again,
he planned giving it to you.
Now he has nothing to give,
so he's feeling a little blue.
Gopher brought you dirt,
the best that he's ever found.
To place among your garden,
to be enchanted all year round.
Kanga wants to rock you,
in her warm and snuggly pouch.
To take away your troubles,
and kiss each and every ouch.
Christopher Robins brought the cake,
his Mom made it just for you.
She sends to you her best wishes,
and a great big loving hug too.
Poohs gift is quite simple,
he wants to take you on a walk.
He wants only to listen,
while from your heart you talk.
This part of the party is private,
to let you know how much they care.
All your AP friends will come later,
it will be a totally different affair.
So, hope you were surprised,
to share your birthday with special friends.
They will never leave you,
they'll return time and time again.
Oh, bother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

This is a cute poem. The Winnie the Pooh theme is sort of a personally special one to me because my last name is Robbins and I have son whose middle name is Christopher. -

*HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEESA_P* Wow after seeing this poem I don't feel so badly that after SIX attempts I haven't been able to post my poem....I think I see the winner right here. Now I'm insecure about both my poem and my picture I chose after looking about 100 pages of pictures. However, some of us are more gifted than others and Samplette you are one of the some of us and I'm one of the others in this contest. We are equal though in that both our poems come straight from the heart for Meesa_P. Right?

This was so sweet and so cute. I didn't get past the snow globe without a smile on my face and I absolutely loved all my gifts from my 100 Hundred Acres friends as their party was a wonderfully delightful surprise.
