Up and down
Around, to the right, to the left
Spinning in circles
Always circles
The pendulum swings
Brings a smile to my face
And tears to my eyes
Can't choose, won't decide
Laugh in joy
Then laugh through your teeth
Smile, with the tears dripping down
Within a minute
All can change
The room spins, then shudders to a halt
Your eyes snap into focus
A new angle
Through the lense
It all looks different
And the pendulum keeps swinging.
