Tonight the street is empty, just the ghosts from all my pain
A smile that they can envy passes by from which they came
I remember all their faces, I remember all their names
All except the girl that stays a Jane on Misery Lane
The sidewalks hold the presence of footsteps walked with grief
The light stops where im headed seems to suggest that I cease
But I walk along the crevice up to the girl that I must meet
This place never heard of Heaven due to the darkness of its street
Except I see a light in a room above the hill
I expect that this just might be the moon that lights the Vill.
Im consumed by the fright I feel, I see her move past the light and kneel
Ive seen her before but still...She doesnt belong on this hill...
I came upon the house from which I saw the flame
She openned up the door...I know this face, I know this frame...
"In your heart I was a memory that you felt could not be changed
Now apart I live in Misery...above this tainted lane
In the dark I must remain, since you've taken all that's great" -her
Then I remember that's her fate...along with the other hearts I break
The other hearts I scar, placed below a sky without the stars
I see her cry but I move far...She was once loved and so its hard...
Now she's just another ghost strolling Miserys Boulevard
