Reflections of sunlight, smooth stones in a stream
this clear mountain water that flows by, serene
A glittering waterfall dripping from snow
pure and deep water, peace rippling below
As it travels further the water transforms
a burbling brook, effervescent rainstorms
Drops taken and cycled all over the earth
rich sea salt and ocean give water new birth
Then finally this water finds reason and muse
a part of each thought and the rhythm I choose
This clear sparkling water becomes wit and word
each poem grows stronger with what is transferred
Author notes
Prompt: Scintillating. I found this worked for several of the (surprisingly rather different) synonyms given for scintillating, it just kind of unfolded like this.

Good luck in the contest!
I like how the ends of the lines dip in and then go back out again.
I think you did that word justice. Good job. (right now I feel like a two-year-old congratulating a teacher)
Rhyming too? What a treat! Two in one day! Now I feel quite special.
Beautiful.
Simply beautiful.
May your pencil never break!
