beneath defeat--
layered optimism,
under loss--
hovered hope;
and in the stillness
of lingering shadows--
drifted light...
creating silhouettes of dreams,
against the burgeoning blackness--
of reality...

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Layering
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading, a smile came upon my face at the message also the ending, how it felt
Strange as it may sound...I was seeing a male figure
with what looks like leis around his neck~
it felt like a celebration whether graduation of some sort but an accomplishment occurred...
Hearing words: Humanitarian Aid as if words spoken
provide relief to those starved for Food for the Soul
Wonderful images You have brought forth
These lines grabbed and pulled~
and in the stillness
of lingering shadows--
drifted light... .
Magnificent take on the prompt~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love~ Desire~*~~*~

Delicately shaded layering,
painting images I see
as softly hopeful.
An exceptional
expression of
the concept!
Bravo!!!!
