The love that a child gives
is unconditional, it is not
demanding, it does not ask
for anything but love in
return
As we grow and mature we
forget the simplicity of
love and start turning to
selfishness and empty
emotions
we need to return to the
simplistic and unconditional
love that we once knew
as a child
true love is freely given
and never asks for anything
but love in return
It does not brag it does not
try to hurt It allows growth
in its midst, so it will not
smother or try to control others
It nurtures and encourages and
gives selflessly to others
It is not jealous of others nor
does it seek to take what others
have out of hate or greed
It rejoices in the happiness
of others and offers comfort
to them when they are sad
True love encompasses all things
and endures through out eternity.
