I Need You

The friend in me today
seeks the friend in you.
I need your essence;
your positive attitude.

You walk with fine nobility
just what I need in humility
dance with me as I sing our song
the friendship dance is rather strong.

Enticing is the angled path we stroll
among the garden's bright lit abode.
How often do I roam your face,
and relax in our friendship's grace.

    I adore this line!! Your poem has wonderful energy, and I do like the delightful rhyme in the second stanza. I would be great had you used this throughout the entire poem. Thank you so much for this cheerful piece. Patricia
