The gentle wind caresses me
like he used to do
lying in our tee-pee at night
our love guiding us through
his masculinity provided me
with everything I could desire
his loving hands roamed my body
embers built into a raging fire
I was his woman and he was my man
loving each other through it all
standing strong through the land
that became the white man's victory
I am alone now with my memories of us
my warrior so brave and true till the end
The white man took his life away
as the bullet tore his bronzed skin
He is still beside me, my mate, my love
guiding me along the path of my life
from the stars strong and above
our bond will keep us together eternally

Another take on the prompt
I believe we carry a part of those who left us also. Their spirit is a guide for us after they leave. Thanks for that reminder.

A nice prayer and his spirit has heard your plea.

BREATH TAKING
held within the bolds of love, as the gentle winds continue to hold you. For even death cannot take away the feelings of true love...your words have touched me! niaish my little one for sharing and for entering

A woman does what a woman has to do. It must of been like this for many women who's warrior husbands were killed in battle. Survival had to go on.
