Oreo

Black on the outside
White on the in
dubbed an oreo
by strangers around me
It's so hard to fit into
two worlds at once
I live for rock and classical
Evanesence, Paramore, Linkin Park
tell me the story of my life
Evanescence
guide my troubled soul in times of need
Beethoven, Bach, Bizet
will you rock my world?
But be still mine heart
leave room for the Fugees
Slick Rick and will smith
People have told me that I
act white
talk white
what with my big words
and the way i enounciate
you call me crazy
you call me freak
you call me gay
you call me fag
you say that i dress in drag
you callme everything but me
I can't-
won't sit in the back of the bus
you will evil eye me and disrespect me
plus you will blast Lil Wayne
as if you know everyone around you it too
in school you trip me up in the hallway
laughing when I fall
Block the door to class
so because of you
yes you
I turned
I gave you reasons
to call me crazy
to call me stupid
to call me freak
I yelled
I screamed
I cut
I cut up
But now I am older
Now I am wiser
Now i am stronger
I refuse to choose
the side of Black of White
I won't fit
I'm like the last jigsaw puzzle piece
that you know where it goes but it just won't fit
I refuse to be labeled
Hell I refuse to allow you to label me
I refuse to be another Black teen statistic
I refuse to be your little black friend
who has White tendancies
I will stand stall
I will stand strong
My pride intact
I can be your best friend
I can be your most dangerous enemy
So call me crazy
Call me Freak
Call me stupid
Call me a fag
Call me whatever
It does'nt matter to me
Because I know
that I am me

This was a poem I wrote this morn about Discrimination against me at my school. Do you think it fits the bill?
