You ask for the perfect guy,
yet I don't see someone
with rock hard abs or a six pack
a certain hair color or style
long hair, short hair, I like them all,
What I really like in a man,
yes, a man, thats all I like,
no boys, no "guys", no silly punks like that,
I like him to be grown up, mature,
able to handle a woman
he has to know how to treat me right
not be an ass, yet not be a pissant.
You might think that asking for respect,
and asking for him to be rough 'round the edges
might just be asking too much,
but I don't think so.
You see, I can say that,
and be proud and right
I say that because I have him,
and he has me.
He's rough 'round the edes,
tough and don't take no shit
no, not from nobody.
he has his pride, his desires, too,
he knows what he wants, and he goes for it.
Then there is the part of him most don't know,
the sweet side, the honest side,
the side that will take me to the beach
and sit there, our toes digging in the sand
as the tide comes in and out
He'll not push me, yet he'll still ask,
he respects me and treats me right.
He loves me softly,
He loves me hard.
Author notes
yeah, my perfect man. *sigh* I have him. I love you Scott.
