Love, and Death..... Option 3

What is this love so many have lost and found?
What is this treasure more valuable than Gold all about?
Every single moment of the day
My mind, my heart wants to know
Wants to know more of this thing called love

Every time I think I’ve got love
It’s there, and gone
Just lust that was I suppose

The un-ending need to be held
To feel the touch of yours
To feel you next to me
As my heart longs for us to be

I feel what I have for you is Love
The gift of Love the greatest gift of all
I want to give to you, and want to be
Loved in return by you, only you

Oh only you, I could see myself with
Beyond time
Beyond the moon, stars, and all the galaxies
Still only you, I can dream of wish to have

Is my love to forbidden for knowledge
Too forbidden, too wanting
That you can’t see that all I have for you is love
Is that why you refuse me, suggest I leave
Or else I will be giving the death penalty

But why
Why must I die?
All I’ve done is love you
All I’ve done is try to make you smile
Yet you refuse me, reject me

I cry at night now alone in this chamber you’ve locked me in
Wondering why you can’t love
And why you can’t even see the love I have for you
I want to give you the greatest treasure
More valuable than all your Gold
Yet you refuse to see the value
The value of my love

Every time you even say
Death with this Man
He sickens me,
My heart still can only love you
My body can still only want you
Need you

Yet tonight, this night
I die only because I have loved you
I saw you were lonely, as I was
I saw you needed, wanted all I to did

Yet as they lay my head upon this chopping block
And the man with the Axe sharpens his blade
I look into your eyes, and see everything through them
And for just one second our souls become one

The man with the axe walks over to me
Suddenly the axe is pulling away
But now it begins to come closer

A second before the axe takes off my head
I hear you cry, what have I done!
I see tears roll from your eyes my princess
And before I die, I hear three words
I love you

Blackness surrounds me
The Darkness of this love
It consumes me

Yet I awake, lying in a bed
I smell her fragrance
I reach, and feel I’m alive I cry joyful!

A man wonders into my room
And says I have mere fainted
My head was not taken off
Only because my Princess screamed stopped
Just in time

She enters the room,
I see her smile at me
She says
“What is love”

All I have left to say
Love is a continuing war
And my love, is yours

Death can not kill love
Love lives beyond the grave
My love
Is forever, and forever unto you
I am faithful.

Ohh... now you have to pin a red "A" to your bossom so that everyone knows of your act of adultery.

Good write, it was long, almost an epic but not quite one by my standards. I like how this poem holds a story. BUT

Is my love to forbidden for knowledge
    To forbidden, to wanting

    TOO forbidden
    TOO wanting.

Lol, pet peeve of mine - but other than that, it was a nice write. Well done.
