A soul once in limbo had waited silently to awake,
Wedged in between the world’s highest altitudes did she lay astray,
Her heart lost in the turmoil of the storm just left to ache,
Only a cosmic man could have hope to find a human in such disarray.
Ferocious would be her future diagnosis,
Sunken beneath a whirlpool of combustions and assumptions,
Naked to all that was true in the reality of life in the light.
But as all water flows trouble must come and trouble must go,
And so she was left to catch her breath on the good shores of this cosmic man’s front beaches
He explained to her softly “There’s no hope to float around here without love in our hearts,
These waters aren’t like the cold winds of the high mountains,
Thick hides will only sink your efforts to swim.”
So with every rise of the sun he taught her his ways,
And with every sunset he handed her his praise.
Too precious would she be to lose again,
For even the thought of that his heart would drain.
Together now they walk hand and hand in strides,
Guiding themselves by the ways of the winds with pride,
Their souls both bound by some star found fate,
For in this rabbit hole of a world the dearest thing to hold is your cosmic bride.
Author notes
I'm writing this for my boyfriend's birthday, I'm referring to him as the cosmic man and myself as the lost soul which had been found... again any help will be greatly appreciated... i need to get back in the groove.
