Because you're blind, you think the world revolves around poor pitiful you. You with your glass eye; ever starin, never seeing all the hatred you inspire. When you sing you sound like a cow in a blender, and dearie, you look as bad as you sound.
And even though I tell you this after SEVEN years of trying to help you, I'm done.
No more Nadame Kindness, the last words you'll hear from my soon-to-be cold body are "Heather, I hate you, pure and simple."
Because you're blind, you think the world revolves around you, well guess what? I'm blind too!

Both this person and I are in a lot of the same blind groups together and in the 12 years we've known each other, she's made almost no progress. She's irritated me beyond the point of reason and I've nearly bludgened her with a plastic Havana cup. But this summer, she and I go off and join the work force and I get to watch her crash and burn.

There are times when 'tough love' is the best way forward. As you have the same disability, you are in a position to comment. Whether blind or not, I know from experience that some people suck up help but never heed it.
