They say that I am worth nothing at all.
They say that I am a cold, bitter person who doesn't understand things in life.
I want them to see that I am not just a pretty face, that I am
worthy of attention and kindness.
That I am special and that
anyone should be happy with me in their lives.
Because I know I'm good for something
I just haven't found it yet
But I need it
I need to know that people think that I am special,
that I am not some big disgrace that should be hidden.
I want them to know that I don't think that they are inferior to me.
I need someone to see that I do love things,
all things in this world.
I just don't love the wrong things in life,
I love the beautiful things,
as well as the ugly things of life.
I am special just being me,
because I love people and things
too much to see them die.

That was moving and inspirational. :-) My fav lines were "I love people and things too much to see them die." and "Because I know I'm good for something I just haven't found it yet". That's how I feel at the moment- a work in progress.
